E3 2008: NIS Confirms New PS3 RPG
Okay, so many a PlayStation 3 owner feels somewhat abandoned by Square-Enix after the E3 announcement that Final Fantasy XIII would also be coming to Microsoft's Xbox 360. Furthermore, the 360 gets a S-E exclusive with Infinite Undiscovery very soon, and The Last Remnant will debut first on the 360. Yeah, Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still a PS3 exclusive, but even so, RPG fans need something more.
Well, they should consider putting some serious faith in NIS. First of all, we know they'll be delivering Disgaea 3 at some point - and that's certainly exclusive to the PS3 - and now, according to RPGFan, the developer is working on yet another PS3 exclusive role-playing adventure. They won't divulge any details at this time, but they did say this new project "will harness more of the power of the platform and shouldn't garner complaints that it looks like a PS2 game." Disgaea 3 isn't exactly a next-generation-looking title, and NIS is aware of the minor graphical backlash. Hence, they're apparently working very hard to produce a PS3 exclusive RPG that will boast the patented NIS depth plus an impressive visual display. Now that's something to anticipate!
As soon as we learn what this game is, we'll let you know, because we're certain RPG fans and PS3 owners are kinda in desperate need of any new info.

Shouldn't we be happy that more people will be able to enjoy this highly anticipated game?
We can expect the full potential from this game on both systems. So why the grudge?
Is everyone really so insecure about their PS3 purchase that they need everything to be just for them and the other systems must fail?
Think of it this way, PS3 is not losing anything. It's just that more people can enjoy what's good. Why be upset about that? ...or did GTAIV seem less fun knowing that 360 owners are enjoying it too?
and now PS3 still get Disgaea 3, exclusive :D

Disgaea 3
