More LittleBigPlanet Info Revealed

After its stellar E3 showing, chances are, most of you want to know more about LittleBigPlanet. Well...here ya go.

According to French gaming site LivePlay3, more details for Media Molecule's little platformer that could have surfaced, much to the delight of anticipatory fans everywhere. First of all, the game will feature 50 separate levels, some of which will have a "boss" at the end and all of which will boast plenty of diverse challenges. Obviously, we expect the "boss" to be something along the lines of a truly demanding puzzle of sorts, perhaps overseen by some twisted fiend who doesn't want you to reach him. However, you can die in LittleBigPlanet - although we're not quite sure how just yet - and you'll have to take advantage of the "numerous checkpoints" scattered throughout.

As for the last bit of news, while the in-game XMB may allow for the future possibility of inputting your own music into PS3 titles, LittleBigPlanet won't be one of those games that supports the feature. It will come with it's own stock of carefully selected music tracks designed to make the experience "more immersive." Okay, that's it for now, but stay tuned for more LBP info as it becomes available.

Looking good. This generation Sony has really been striving to create new and different titles (HOME, LBP, MAG, Echrome to name a few), even if they don't succeed (Haze). It's nice to see that the industry is still trying to shake things up a bit.

@fatchad - Haze, isn't from Sony. It's from Free Radical.

This is the first thing that has kinda let me down from LBP, I really wanted to be able to put in my own music...oh well...

But Haze was a hugely backed Sony game and was marketed as a ground breaking experience by Sony.
