New PS3 Exclusive Announcement?

Anything related to the word "exclusive" is big news these days, primarily because there may soon come a day when nothing in the video game world is "exclusive." But they're still around, especially for the PlayStation 3, which is looking forward to the likes of Resistance 2, Killzone 2, InFamous, M.A.G, Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, LittleBigPlanet, etc.

And according to the latest big rumor, another is on the way. PlayStation LifeStyle has said a brand new exclusive PS3 game - one that is apparently super-huge - will be announced on August 3. More "hints" will come on July 26 (not sure why that day is so special), but until then, everyone is going to be forced to speculate on whatever this might be. They do say it has "nothing to do" with Square-Enix's private event held later on in August, so we can rule out anything related to Final Fantasy, but beyond that... We're not putting a huge amount of stock in this information right now, but if it's true, we'd love to think it's Team ICO's new project, which wasn't unveiled at E3. We're certain they're working on something, and we're relatively certain it's exclusive to the PS3, but we've had no news on the actual game(s). Other than that, we're at a loss.

It could be a game that will debut at Leipzig, but why announce it before the convention? We have a whole lot of questions, and without anything official from Sony, we're not about to tell you to put a big red "X" on August 3 on your calendars. No guarantees, friends.

Man I agree HUSO I though I was like the only one that ever played that game lol...The plot was a little simple so all they need to do is add a little more depth and a Deep New battle system(since turn based is truly dying in a way)

I'm with you guys, a LOD game would be awesome. Although I do prefer turn based rpg's. I always have, always will.

The square enix private invite only party is held on the 2nd and 3rd of august, and not so much later on. but still it's probably is something else than final fantasy related news.

I'm really hoping that this "super-big" exclusive is an RPG. I honestly don't know how stoked I could be for another shooter, regardless of how big it is...

Welcome all newcomers. Keep 'em coming, I say. :)

As for the idea of Legend of Dragoon, that brings me back to the good ol' days of the PS1. The glory days of the RPG! And of course, I most certainly have Dragoon as part of my collection, and there were rumors of a sequel for a LONG time after that. It probably won't happen, but I'd still love another one!

Im sorry but i never really got to finish the game (My 4th disk broke)Could someone tell me who was the Black Monster (I always suspected Rose but never had evedence)and how the game ended

Any game that HAS BEEN MENTIONED...is NOT the secret game. When its reveiled THEN we will know, so please stop saying Heavy Rain, Saints Row 2, Borderlands, Fallout 3, etc. The only ones that have some possibilities are the Team Ico games, something related to Final Fantasy or a RPG. Maybe something COMPLETELY NEW or a old game brought back for the next gen like Legend of Dragoon (mentioned previously)
