Full World Tour Track List Revealed?

It has quickly become one of the most popular franchises in video game history, and Activision isn't about to stop any time soon. That's good news for fans of the series, who are anxiously anticipating the next installment, Guitar Hero: World Tour.

Perhaps best of all, the full track list may have been revealed well ahead of schedule. The list of 87 songs is making the rounds throughout gaming forums, and it includes 73 main tracks along with 14 bonus tracks. If it's true, there are plenty of classics to look forward to, and there ought to be something for everyone: we see the likes of Smashing Pumpkins, Toto, Tool, Linkin Park, The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Thin Lizzie, Slipknot, Pink Floyd, Ted Nugent, Dragonforce, Zakk Wylde, and Van Halen. There are also 7 sample songs included in the traveling track list, which we assume are examples of the song creation mode for the game. You can see the entire list here.

Obviously, without Neversoft to confirm these songs, this can be considered nothing more than rumor. But if there's no foundation in truth, it means that someone went to a whole lot of effort to make up this entire list. We have the feeling this didn't happen, and it's only a matter of time before every last one of these 87 songs are confirmed. ...then again, what do we know?

Ya know, originally I was refusing to buy this game because I've already got RB, and don't want to buy a whole new set of plastic instruments, but...that's a pretty good list.

...Only like 40% of that setlist was good...I think I'll be buying Rock Band 2 instead with the nifty Ion drum kit...

And incase your wondering why this setlist is lame...looks at all the hardcore and emo songs the they have...okay...i wanna rock, not put my hair over my eyes and sing about my feelings...

I really like it, Blink 182 with Dammit and Plus 44 with their hit, finally "my band" on Guitar Hero. probably a deal for Travis Barker helping them with drumming so nice to see my favourite bands are on there.
I will buy GH:World Tour when it release for this reason alone.

Yarsss, Thin Lizzy are in it :D (yes, Thin Lizzy, not lizzie)
Don't particularly like the music, but Phil Lynott (bassist?) is like my... 2nd cousin.
Or was, seen as he's dead. But still. Claim to fame number one ;)
Theres more, but lets not go there...

For your "famous second cousin" you seem to know very little about the guy

I'll wait for them to confirm or deny before I get excited. I just wish Tornado of Souls could be on RB 2, though. I want more Megadeth dammit!

It also sucks that we wont ever see any Zep.

MarvelZombies2, there will never, ever be any kind of Led Zeppelin in any game for one simple reason. And that is because Jimmi Page wont allow anyone to use their songs. I love Zep, but since when did Jimmi Page become a douche?

A lot of those have to be fake, especially Comfortably Numb. Roger Waters wrote that song and he's the douchiest douche in all of douchedom. He'll never license it, especially when it's credited to Pink Floyd.
