Tera Patrick Signs On As "Special Producer" For Saints Row 2

Now what the heck is going on here?

Those of you who loved Grand Theft Auto IV will probably want to give THQ's Saints Row 2 a try when it releases on October 14. The team at Volition delayed the game a little while back in order to put some space between GTAIV and their product (which makes sense), but this is one mystery move that's bound to turn even more heads. According to the VideoGaming247 blog, THQ has just signed on adult entertainment star Tera Patrick as a "special producer" of some kind, and no, they say it's not a joke. In fact, Patrick will supposedly be showing the game off at this weekend's Comic Con event in San Diego, so you suddenly have a new reason to take a road trip... Of course, the big question is: what is one of the hottest women alive actually doing for Volition and Saints Row 2?

We haven't the foggiest, but we can guess...and so can you. There were strippers in GTAIV, why shouldn't there be strippers in SR2? There were hookers in GTAIV so why shouldn't there be hookers in SR2? Then again, maybe she's just lending her voice to a character, or acting as a PR specialist. Either way, we'll want to know more about it, primarily because we're male, the majority of our readership is male, and we're weak-minded when it comes to matters of extreme hotness so often on public display for our greedy eyes. Yes, we must admit the truth.

For the record, they where not "hidden" They where locked away, deleted so to say. Not deleted as off the game completely, deleted as in was never suppose to be in game period. The scenes where found by a modder and then a mod that unlocks those scenes was released by that modder. He did not get in trouble for any of this, however Rockstar took the blow. Sucks for them hmm? =/

Wouldn't it be nice that tera lends her voice to one of the hookers, and they give u the options GTA IV has for their hookers???? SR2 hopefully won't let me down the way GTA IV did. But in all seriousness, these kind of details were found in San andreas and Vice city. GTA IV got away from that and got to attentive to minor, specific details. I really could careless if my character bends his knee on the curb. I could careless to replicate New york to the T. I'm more interested in little side mini games, extra hidden content that u have to mistakenly come across. I know GTA IV has some but no where as much as San Andreas. I expected everything in San Andreas and more. Not GTA III with great graphics.

P. S. Ben remember that I said SR2 will be better than GTAIV. Lol ;-p

Who cares? I don't understand the buzz here. Because this flea infested porn actress is a "special producer" I'm supposed to be happy? It sounds like this is really working, just read the posts above mine, but as far as I'm concerned this is kind of desperate. Is this what THQ has to do to create buzz and sell their game? I'm not gonna complain here like a little punk or anything but what's next? What will be acceptable and cool in 10 years when my son is in high school? I'm 100% into girls but I don't have to have a little chicken a$$ passed in front of my face every other second to be content. Whoever had this idea and then followed through with it needs to find some class and then grow up.

@chozin I don't see what your talkin bout, she hot!!!! That's what the buzz is comin from!!! If u don't like it or not Tera Patrick has a huge fan following! So this would attract more people to this game. Lastly, she is very creative, she has venture out into a lot of different businesses. I don't know if your familiar with her work, but she has a lot of interactive movies, not to mention she ventures into the new media formats. I'm pretty sure her company approacheda video game company, and they too thought this was a good idea

kj, I didn't say she was ugly, I just called her flea infested.....which is probably the least contagious of the many nasty little bugs traveling along with her on her body. I'm not familiar with her work, as if she's Copernicus, but to say a woman that chose this career to express her "creative" side is anything but a disappointment to herself and family would be foolish. Aren't there other outlets for her creative work aside from video games, apparently kj has all her interactive discs......not sure how you could possibly interact with a dvd but hey to each his own. My point is she should stick to being stuck, I have no need or any respect at all for her incredibly creative mind. This is not a game based on being a whore, get someone else to hype this game. I'm sure back when Rivercity Ransom came out the game would have sold way better had Linda Lovelace and John Holmes endorsed it. AND KJ.......next time your in the basement or locked away in your room "interacting" with Tera, take a moment to think about what your doing.....believe it or not there are actually girls in your town and they haven't slept with 1,000 men, WOW hey...the best part is they are interactive as well. Then maybe you won't feel like a douche when your all done with them.

hmmm.... lets start here. I didnt attack u in any sort of way! i was simply stating that whenever u promote with any hot girl/male no matter his/her profession it will generate a buzz. thats what I meant by sayin she's hot

Now on to her interactive dvds, the point being proven with that statement, is she has a very high interest in different technology. So the next step would be to come out with a video game.

Now onto u. people like u make me dissappointed. I'm not sayin what she does is right. That's not for me to decide, nor to judge, but for u to judge a person makes u worse than what u judged. She makes a hell of a lot more money than us combined!!! Guess what, her makin a video game would make her even more. I'm not goin to sit here and knock someone's hustle. She rich and her husband doesn't see nothin wrong wit what she does! So why should we?

P.S. the point with the creative side of Tera is that pornography isnt just VHS anymore! It's not just on film reels either. With each generation new ,different and expensive technology continues to come out.

Let's not get into a pornography/creative debate. That goes nowhere.

And Chozin, just one thing- I know you disapprove (which makes sense), but to call her "flea-infested" and say she has "bugs crawling around" is indeed a mistake. The adult entertainment industry, like it or not, is a legitimate industry that works on profit like anything else. The dirty, low-brow outfits aren't so gung-ho about safety, but the elite stars undergo constant medical exams. Do you really believe men would sleep with anyone "flea infested," regardless of how hot they looked? They need those ladies to keep making money for them, which means they need to stay clean. It's in the best interests of everyone.

In short, while I'm certain those who just dabble in porn in some back alley are probably riddled with STDs, the top ladies like Tera are probably cleaner than YOU. ;)

I don't get the problem. Didn't a lot of the street racing games have real life actresses to promote them?

My thinking is that she is doing a character voice-over.
