Bioshock: "Most Integrated Porn Movie Of All Time?"

Well, either our timing is excellent or everybody in the video game industry has porn on their minds. What's the deal?

Some of you may recall last week's editorial regarding adult entertainment in games, and now, more evidence is starting to pop up to support our theory. First of all, Heavy Rain developer David Cage actually compared the narrative of Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune to that of a porn movie. Now, this doesn't mean he was slamming the story; he was merely talking about the style, and admittedly, the narrative could be campy enough to make the comparison semi-valid... But on top of that, 2K Boston member Ken Levine just said something about Bioshock that is raising even more eyebrows even as we speak: according to VG247, Levine said- "With BioShock we tried to make the most integrated porn movie of all time."

Really, we're not entirely sure what this means, but we do remember playing Bioshock, and it's the last game one might equate to porn. On the other hand, this is probably just another style reference, although it's interesting that two different developers have already used adult entertainment in quotes to the media. We told ya it'd be more prevalent. ;)
