Europe To Get SIREN: Blood Curse Blu-Ray This Fall
From what we can gather based on critical feedback, the downloadable survival/horror adventure, SIREN: Blood Curse, is well worth a purchase for fans of the genre. However, you may want to wait for another option...
As some of you may already know, the download file for the game is a massive 9 gigabytes, and that - obviously - can take a while. But according to Joystiq, SIREN: Blood Curse will release in standard Blu-Ray disc form in Europe later this fall. The price of the download currently sits at £19.99/€29.99, and if the Blu-Ray carries the same retail tag, you may choose to bypass the gigantic download and pick up the disc when it arrives. As for North America, we're not sure yet if the game will receive the same treatment, but we'd like to assume it will. In fact, some will argue that all full Store/Network games should be available both online and in Blu-Ray disc form, simply because the second option makes things easier for certain people. If you're one of the latter group, stay tuned for any news regarding Blood Curse on Blu-Ray in the U.S.
But hey, no matter how long it takes to download 9 gigs, it's still longer to wait for the standard disc, so it's up to you. We're hoping the game is worth the effort, either way.
