Final Fantasy XIII Demo Featured In Advent Children Complete
Final Fantasy XIIIUpdate: As a little boost to those of you still complaining about Sony losing exclusivity with FFXIII, it now appears that because Advent Children Complete is Blu-Ray, that playable demo will be exclusive to the PS3. Well, that's interesting, although we do assume Square-Enix will do something to give it to Xbox 360 owners as well. But it's worth mentioning.

Okay, so it's not the announcement everyone has been waiting for, but we still consider it good news.
According to what Forever-Fantasy discovered in the latest edition of Famitsu, there are going to be several nifty bonuses included with the release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, which will arrive in March 2009. First of all, we'll get a couple new videos for Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII; the latter title, by the way, is no longer just a mobile phone game. Agito is also coming to the PSP, so there's a good reason why owners of Sony's sleek handheld should be interested in those new videos that come with Advent Children Complete. But that's not the best part: no, the best part is that the special movie collection will include a playable demo of Final Fantasy XIII! Obviously, we're not getting FFXIII this year, but perhaps if there's a demo in March 2009, we can expect it for holidays 2009...?
Oh, by the way, Parasite Eve 3 is also coming to the PSP, but the big news here centers on that FFXIII demo. We'd like to think it'll come to the PlayStation Store at some point, too, but we're plenty happy with this announcement for now.

Also, I'm glad at least S-E isn't blind on the rise of the PSP, Parasite Eve 3, and Agito is seriously gonna make the PSP rise even more over there.

I was already getting Complete anyway so the bonuses are nice. And FFXIII could technically come out in 08 for Japan since it takes so much time for them redo the language.

I have all current and past systems, so I'm no fan boy; but those damn Segaholics used to really piss me off. I'm sure most of them have 360's now and are rooting for the 360 to knock off the PS3 as some sort of revenge.
Anyway, you keep writing you're sure SquEnix will give the 360 a demo at some point, maybe as a download or the DVD of FFAC Complete. Even if they do, that demo won't come until a long time after March 2009 because SquEnix hasn't even started the 360 version; and I don't believe the 360 can play the PS3 code, can it?
