Nail A Resistance 2 Beta Spot With Third Qore Episode

You can secure a position in the upcoming Resistance 2 beta by pre-ordering the game - although we're not certain if Insomniac has begun that promotion just yet - but if you want to get a spot now, simply sign up for the third episode of Qore on the PlayStation Network.

Initially, it was erroneously believed that subscribing to Qore would be the only way to get into the Resistance 2 beta. But it's certainly an option; Episode 3 of Qore is going to feature a horde of new content, and that includes "premier access" to what is guaranteed to be the most popular beta of the year. The Episode becomes available for download on the PSN today, so check out all the other great games that will be on display; Susan Panico, PSN director, confirmed it all at the official PlayStation blog:

  • DC Universe Online
  • NBA 09: The Inside
  • LEGO Batman: The Video Game
  • Baja: Edge of Control
  • New Downloadable Content

Oh, and by the way, if you sign on to be an annual subscriber, Sony will toss you another gift: Calling All Cars! It'll be free, so do you really need more incentive to finally become a member of the Qore community? Obviously, that Resistance 2 beta access should be incentive enough - especially for fans of the original game - but there are other goodies, here. You should definitely consider subscribing, gamers.

on ps blog it says that you've got to buy annual subscription in order to get into R2 beta.
Quote:
"Hey everyone,

This is Bryan Intihar, community manager for Insomniac Games. Just to clarify a few points about the Resistance 2 public beta.

*You must purchase a subscription to Qore–not just episode 3–to gain premier access to the Resistance 2 public beta.
*As we’ve stated in the past, there will be MULTIPLE ways of getting into the Resistance 2 public beta. The subscription to Qore is just ONE way. Stay tuned over the next few weeks for more details.

Hope this helps."

So after I came along and showed every one the quote from the playstation blog they went and changed it. You DO have to subscribe to Qore to get the beta code.

What time do they usually update the store??
