Confrontation Public Beta Detailed
Yesterday, we brought you the finalized release details for SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation, but it didn't include information on the public beta. Well, Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein remedied that with the most recent post at the official PlayStation blog.
As he says, the public beta "deploys in September," and if you've either purchased Episode 1 of Qore or are an annual subscriber, you're already set to jump into the action on September 8. But, if you'd rather pre-order the game, you can start your beta testing phase a full week earlier on September 1. If you pre-order at GameStop, you'll also get the added benefit of being able to share your beta code with two friends; as they say at SOCOM's official site, "what better way to encourage teamwork?" While you're over there, you can check out the rest of the detailed information concerning the beta, which means everything should be out in the open now. No more guessing when it comes to either the release date plans or the beta: it's all here, SOCOM followers, so now all you gotta do is wait a bit.
Remember, just like Warhawk, you can either purchase Confrontation via standard Blu-Ray disc or on the PlayStation Store; both carry the same price of $39.99. The Blu-Ray bundle, on the other hand, includes the first official Sony Bluetooth headset, and that will hold a price tag of $59.99. Make your decision, and team up for top-notch multiplayer entertainment!
