PlayBoy's Garcia Praises Madden 09

Admit it, guys- the idea of gorgeous girls loving video games is alien to most of us, but that doesn't mean it's a universal impossibility. Jo Garcia has had to battle the constant insinuations that she's little more than a PlayBoy bunny who gets paid off to say, "I'm a gamer!" But she remains insistent, and she's once again in the news with the imminent release of EA's Madden NFL 09 this week.

As you can see in this video interview, Garcia claims that she is most certainly going to pick the game up, and furthermore, women shouldn't dismiss it as a game just for the guys. The brunette beauty swears many wives and girlfriends will have "just as much fun" playing, and furthermore, she seems quite informed on the details of Madden NFL 09. The pessimists will just say she is being fed the information (heck, maybe there are cue cards off camera!) but we like to remain optimistic. We just accept the fact that a PlayBoy model is indeed a gamer because...well, because it's a rare notch in a gamer's belt, and in a belt that someone like Garcia may never touch. Aw, but we can accept that, provided she's really on our side, right?

Anyway, Madden NFL 09 may be a simulator for the hardcore pigskin fans, but it should also be accessible to the casual gamers out there, so what Garcia says is correct. It's a game that most people will enjoy playing with a friend, and that's that. We don't need a wicked hottie to tell us that, even if we do appreciate it.
