Alone In The Dark PS3 "Enhanced"
Alone in the DarkSadly, Alone in the Dark for the PS2 was one of the worst games of the year in our estimation, but critical feedback on the Xbox 360 version wasn't quite as bad. Therefore, even though we're not holding our breaths, our ears perk up at the announcement of an "enhanced" version coming to the PlayStation 3 in November.
Atari was forced to delay the PS3 version quite some time ago, but after sampling the awfulness that was the PS2 version, we suddenly didn't care so much. But according to PlayStation Direct, Eden is preparing the best version yet for owners of Sony's next-gen console; it will boast "a number of gameplay enhancements" along with fixes for annoying little bugs that popped up in the Xbox 360 version. The title will come to the Leipzig Games Convention in a few weeks time where it should be playable for all those in attendance. Obviously, this game better be nothing like the PS2 version; otherwise, we can't issue a purchase - or even a rental - recommendation. But given enough time, developers can indeed make games better...it's just a matter of motivation and talent.
The only other obstacle centers on the timing. By the time Alone in the Dark PS3 rolls around in November, there just might be a few other titles out there that will grab your attention.

Thats right I said it, don't believe me.. Ok, np.. Let's haul "Enter the Matrix"'s ass out and play it again. Or how about any of the Driver games. Ohh.. What's that? Those games sucked ass? You don't wanna play em? Gee, I wonder why.. Oh ya.. now I remember! Atari made them!
As for this game.. Yes, I fell for it too. I loved "Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare" for Ps1. (Which for the record was made by Darkworks/Infogrames.) So, I rented this new turd for Ps2 from Gamefly. Its not only a bad game.. its completely horrible. Not 1 redeeming quality can be found. It just sucks. And now, they want us to step up and buy the Ps3 version? Hmm.. are they insane? I wouldnt buy this game if it was dipped in gold and rolled in diamond dust. A turd is a turd.. no matter how shiny you get it. So, for any of you people who are thinking "Well, it might actually be cool".. Remember "Enter the Matrix"
IF YOU BUY CRAP... THEY WILL KEEP MAKING CRAP!
If you dont buy crap, they will go bankrupt.. Which is awesome. Goodbye Atari, I hate you.
