Eat Sleep Play To Reveal Twisted Metal PS3 Next Week?
Initially rumored than proven in a cryptic message at the end of Twisted Metal: Head-On for the PS2, a new Twisted Metal for the PS3 is indeed on the way, with Dave Jaffe's new studio - Eat Sleep Play - at the helm. However, we haven't heard anything about this project since the unofficial unveiling, and we've been hoping for any news...
Well, maybe it will be coming very soon. If you check Jaffe's official blog, he says the project is now "in the crunch for a Sony Dog and Pony" showing next week, which is very close to the Leipzig Games Convention. We already have Sony's list of titles that are headed to the Convention and Twisted Metal PS3 isn't an the list, but Jaffe probably isn't talking about that. You can judge for yourself by simply reading what he wrote:
"I figured I'd share a bit of what's up with the work on my end. Out in Utah I know the team is scrambling to get a nice, sexy build of the game going for a Sony Dog and Pony next week. While I am sure I would drive some of them crazy if I was out there everyday- and the very successful, very functional alliance we've forged over the last 12 years would prob. not work with daily, real life connection- it's times like these I WISH I was out there, so I could help with the crunch. Ah well, I can always hop a flight :)"
This may or may not be something that can be released to the public, but if it's any information on the project, we'll be looking for it. We're certain many of you have been anxiously awaiting the first details on this game, and trust us, we're one of you.

Give us more characters to like, so far I always feel like there are not enough characters.
The stages need to be more complex too.
I really like the Twisted Metal games for ps1, you really felt like you were in the real world battling it out.
TM4 just felt like you were in some weird Resident Evil game. More like Halloween than anything.

The post he made about getting the build together for a Sony guy was made on the 7th. The next week he was referring to is this week. And all it is is a build for Sony to check out. Not for public eyes I'm sure.
Go check the blog if you don't believe me. I assure you I wouldn't waste my time making this up though.
