EA Releases Track List For FIFA 09

Although Madden NFL 09 is getting the spotlight for now, the global sport of choice is still soccer, so there are millions of fans anxiously awaiting FIFA 09. And what good is a sports game without a great soundtrack to go along with top-notch gameplay?

According to GameSpot, EA has released the full track list, and fittingly, it's a global assortment. The list consists of 41 songs originating from 21 different nations, and this year, the UK comes in with the most tracks. They'll bring us The Ting Tings, The Kooks, Kasabian and Duffy, and in addition, we'll get a bunch of techno tracks from the likes of Datarock, CSS, Hot Chip and Junkie XL. I hope it makes some nice improvements in gameplay over '08. '08 was a great game, and was a much deeper game than '07. I was pretty ticked when '07 didn't have any lower leagues, or relegation and promotion in it at all. Truly substandard compared to what was on the XBOX or PS2. But I hate it when EA releases $60 roster updates, so there'd better be something different and better about this game if EA wants my cash. Otherwise I'll happily plop my copy of '08 back in rather than drop $60. Too many other good games coming out.

Pro Evo is still better..It might take a while to rename the players and clubs but its still my prefered game.
