Force Unleashed Demo: August 21
When LucasArts issued that big round of layoffs, some were concerned it might have an adverse effect on the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. But things have carried on as planned, and the game is still scheduled to arrive on September 16.
Better yet, we now have a release date for the impending demo we were promised. Earlier, during an interview with G4TV, LucasArts Marketing Manager Matt Shell revealed a demo for The Force Unleashed would be coming to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace this month. Now, according to PSU, it's coming next week, on August 21. The demo will show off a "special version of the Tie Fighter Construction Facility, where players will have access to extra force powers and a 'super secret' ending to the level not found in the final version of the game." Those of you still unfamiliar with this title should also be aware that you will play as the Apprentice in this "Star Wars" game. Oh, and you should be able to take control of Darth Vader at some point, too. Isn't that enough to entice any and all hardcore fans of the legendary movie series?
But if you're still not convinced and you'd rather take it out for a test drive before purchasing, feel free to log on to either the Store or the Marketplace next week to download that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo. We assume you'll come away happy with the experience.
