Let The Heavy Rain Hype Begin
Heavy RainEver since the very first photos were released way back at E3 2006, everyone has been clamoring for concrete information and details concerning Quantic Dream's Heavy Rain. But up until now, the developers responsible for Indigo Prophecy had only provided select game journalists with behind-closed-doors presentations, leaving most gamers very much in the dark. Even leaked photos - like the one pictured here - really don't tell us much.
But the wait is almost over, as Heavy Rain will be a staple of Sony's press conference today at the Leipzig Games Convention. We believe the conference kicks off at 12:00 p.m. ET, and we can't wait to hear what they have to say. To help fuel the hype, check out this video where GameReactor TV interviewed Quantic Dreams founder and Heavy Rain director, David Cage. Here, Cage talks about Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and says the game got "some" things right, and that his promising game will have "no competitors." Well, we gave Uncharted Game of the Year - co-held with God of War II in 2007 - so if that title only got "some" things correct...than what the hell are we going to get with Heavy Rain>
Remember, we're talking about a PlayStation 3 exclusive, so should we be adding this name to the likes of Metal Gear Solid, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo, and Resistance? Will Heavy Rain suddenly become one of the most widely anticipated next-gen titles after Leipzig? The hype begins!

I'm not hyped 'till I see something which makes me want to get it.
Less interested if it's an FPS.
Even less interested if it's a life simulator game with no action.

As long as it lives up to its hyped potential ( unlike Too Human ) it should do well. If it turns out great, id be the first to admit i was wrong
