Bioshock PS3 Set For October 21
2K hasn't been hiding much after revealing Bioshock for the PlayStation 3, as we continually see updates and plenty of information concerning the game's content and release. Not long ago, they narrowed the launch down to October and now, according to GameSpot, they have solidified an exact release date.
What should be the best version of this fantastic game will release for the PS3 on October 21 in North America and October 24 in Europe. We probably shouldn't have to remind you, but all the downloadable content currently available for Bioshock will come with the PS3 version, and 2K just recently revealed the addition of "Challenge Rooms" for added difficulty beyond the regular story campaign. And of course, what with the new Trophies now in place for Sony's machine, we will get those as well. Even though it may not make much sense to nominate what is originally a 2007 title for a 2008 GoY award, we might just have to make an exception regarding Bioshock. Those of you who have already played it on the Xbox 360 or PC are well aware of this game's immersion factor and overall appeal, and we do believe there's a reason to play it again on the PS3.
And if you haven't yet played it, than prepare yourselves for one of this generation's top titles so far. It may be coming a full year late, but it's gonna have all the great extras, and a fantastic game is a fantastic game. The PS3 library can only benefit from this.

This game kicks ass! I have the 360 version (one of only a handful of titles that I HAD to play on my bf's 360), but will definitely be getting this for the PS3. This is one of my favorite games, but I'm partial to the survival horror genre, especially when you get FPS with it. =)

When playing adventure games like Uncharted or soon Bioshock, the main part (or WHOLE part) of the game is SOLO so who CARES if it's online or not?!?!?!? I want to try Bioshock finally for the action adventure aspect, which is SOLO...not get it to go online for some death match against kids that are online 24/7.
MAN I CAN'T WAIT FOR RESIDENT EVIL 5!!!
