TGS 2008 Full Exhibitor List Revealed
Well, the Leipzig Games Convention did provide us with plenty of big news, including the 160GB PS3, the PSP-3000, and the official unveiling of Heavy Rain. But the next big show isn't far off; the Tokyo Game Show runs from October 9 through October 12 (the first two days are for the media; they're when the announcements will come), and they've just revealed the exhibitor list.
If you're asking who may be on the list, perhaps the better question is, who isn't? First of all, the official site for TGS 2008 is officially open, and you can peruse all the up-to-date information. If you want to take a gander at the full exhibitor list, visit here and see if your favorite developer or publisher is there. Don't worry, all the big boys are attending: besides the "Big 3," there's Square-Enix, EA, Capcom, Konami, Namco, Sega, Tecmo, and more, all ready and willing to show off their best projects of the year. Obviously, we're hoping to see more about God of War 3 on Sony's end; all we got was that teaser trailer at E3, and we could always use one final update on Resistance 2. Will publishers use this year's TGS to drop more bombshells...?
We can't be sure, but at this rate, TGS is almost a bigger deal than E3, especially considering the sheer number of attendees the Japanese show generates. Let's hope everyone comes away wholly satisfied!
