Soul Calibur IV DLC Raises Eyebrows

There's no doubt that Soul Calibur IV is an extraordinarily fun fighter, one that features a boatload of polish and panache. But we'd be remiss if we didn't add the very obvious fact that Namco took advantage of certain corners of the teenage male psyche - Ivy's double-Ds (or are those E?) can now compete with any Dead or Alive chick - and it continues.

The first batch of downloadable content for the game should be coming soon, and as GotGame points out, there's a whole lotta exposin' going on. We already get plenty of sex appeal straight out of the box, but if you're looking for new ways to spice up your favorite female fighter, you should probably pick up the extra content. Thing is, not only can you outfit the characters in any number of absurdly skimpy outfits, but there's the added benefit of being able to view your new creation from just about any angle... Then, when you take them out into the arena, they're going to be "bouncing" more than ever and your fighting performance just might suffer. But hey, why not strip Ivy down even more and have her square off against a 94%-nude version of Sophitia or Taki? It only makes sense that two women should battle with deadly blades while wearing nothing more than lingerie and high heels. I mean, that's just logical.

Anyway, sex really does sell, and we expect this DLC to come streaming into many homes with hormones-a-raging males between the ages of 13 and 21, but let's not forget about the females; you can put Rock and Siegfried in skimpy costumes too!  ...we think.  Anyway, we have to admit, Namco's really getting away with one by labeling this content "T." That's pushing it, but whatever. The impossibly formed ladies aren't actually naked, right?
