3D Realms On Duke Nukem Forever: "It's Just A Matter Of Time"
Why we keep playing along with this ongoing joke, we'll never know. Perhaps we're just fascinated that an imaginary game can get so much attention, even when the tiniest bit of news surfaces. Well, whatever.
According to a recent Team Xbox interview, 3D Realms head man George Broussard has "sort of" implied that development on Duke Nukem Forever is moving right along. In fact, he says the team now has "several hours of fairly polished game to play." A few hours? Since starting on this like 11 years ago? You guys are either bigger perfectionists than Hideo Kojima, or you move slower than Donkey Kong afflicted with Mini in Super Mario Kart. Broussard added- "It's fun, it's in focus, we know what bits are fun and which are not, and it's just a matter of time now." ...did anybody else fall off their chair laughing at that last bit? Seriously? Hell, we're not even certain the game is coming to consoles, and to be perfectly honest, we refuse to believe this project even exists in the first place. We wouldn't be surprised to learn that, in another 10 years, DNF remains the longest-running video game prank of all time.
But all kidding aside, we really would like to see this game arrive at some point for the PS3. It could be really great, and we never turn away from fantastic titles. But if the PS5 rolls around and this thing still isn't past the early development stages, we officially quit. No. Really.

It's basically a joke lol
How many screens of this game have we seen? One? and it isn't even in real-time?
lol I think this is a joke game more than anything. They probably crack up at the fanboys who are waiting for it.
