White Knight Chronicles At TGS 2008?
White Knight ChroniclesIt's bad enough that we have to deal with hazy rumors regarding Level 5's White Knight Chronicles, but it makes things that much tougher when those rumors have to be translated.
Anyway, as we already reported, an update over at the official site for the game shows a new byline; "The Days of Awakening Are Coming Soon." We wanted to know what this meant, and it seems one source claims they know: it means the highly promising RPG will be coming to the Tokyo Game Show this year. The source cites the latest Famitsu edition as saying they will have a full feature on the title when the game is unveiled at TGS. However, there are a few problems with this rumor- first, it says the event will be held between September 10 and 12 when in fact, according to the official site, TGS 2008 actually takes place a month later, between October 9 and October 12. Secondly, we have no evidence at all that Famitsu made the aforementioned claim, so we're just going to have to wait. Bummer.
If you want to check the White Knight Chronicles site for yourself, feel free. At the very least, you can brush up on some details and information, but you better be able to read Japanese. Come on, Level 5, just reveal this one for good!

I can't really tell all that much from the game(I don't speak Japanese). But it seems to have quite a lot of character customization. It is set in a medieval-like world. And I think the characters can transform into these armored suit things. (But I'm just guessing)
Don't fret about the lack of news. It's pretty obvious that it is going to be released in Japan first. Once it gets far enough into localization, I expect news will be released in North America soon.

Also, I was right in my previous assumption. The main character can turn into the white knight. There is also a black knight.
Apparently the player character is not the actual main character. And that's about all I could find.
This is definitely a game for all those hardcore J-RPG fans out there.
