As far as PlayStation 3 exclusives go, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots still reigns supreme in 2008, but if Insomniac comes through, Resistance 2 could give it a run for its money. These actually come courtesy of Amazon.com, which quietly listed the special edition some time on Saturday, where it debuted way down at the #1,822 slot, but it didn't go unnoticed for long. As of now, it sits up at #39 in the Video Game category; it seems just about everyone wants to get their hands on the Collectors Edition! It will include a special Behind the Scenes DVD (complete with commentary from the developers and a "Twisted History" Chronology video), an in-game HVAP multiplayer skin, an inside look at the upcoming novel, "Resistance: The Gathering Storm," a five and a half inch Chimera Hybrid action figure, and a sweet Resistance art book. You can grab it all for $79.99, and that's not a bad deal for everything that comes with this appealing package.
