Kingdom Hearts III For PS3 At TGS?
The biggest news at Square-Enix's private party event, dubbed DKΣ3713, was the Final Fantasy XIII playable demo that will be included with next year's Blu-Ray release of "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete." Some believed the third Kingdom Hearts entry would be announced, but that never happened...perhaps they've decided to wait until the Tokyo Game Show.
According to the latest Official PlayStation Magazine issue that just hits retailers this week, Square-Enix will most certainly present Kingdom Hearts III for the PlayStation 3 at TGS 2008. There's no way to misinterpret the statement, even though it is listed under the "Rumors" section: "Kingdom Hearts III is currently in development as a PS3 exclusive and will be announced at TGS." Many sources have been saying we should expect KHIII for the PS3 at some point, but not a one has been able to provide us with anything concrete in the way of evidence. And we can't exactly turn to Square-Enix; they're about as forthcoming with news as Quantic Dream was for Heavy Rain before the Leipzig unveiling. So chances are, until October rolls around, we'll never be able to confirm if this rumor is true.
But it certainly should get the attention of PS3 owners, at the very least. We haven't had many RPGs - if any - and Kingdom Hearts III would be an absolutely gigantic announcement. Also bear in mind that there wasn't any talk about a 360 version...this bad boy could be yet another top-notch PS3 exclusive.

I'm not really that concerned as to whether or not this is a PS3 exclusive or n,... Aw who am I kidding, this had BETTER be an exclusive!!! What were they thinking with taking MS's bribe to put FFXIII on the AC360? The Xbox360 is a nice piece of hardware, don't get me wrong, but It CAN NOT make FFXIII look anywhere near as pretty as the PS3's cell processor can! It was bad enough to have the "time window" "exclusives" like the PS2 GTA games and MGS2 and MGS3, but why release FFXIII on the Xbox360 at all, let alone with out any "exculsivity window"!!! At least FF vs. XIII will be a PS3 exclusive, and they are smart enough to not make a Japanese version of FFXIII for all 12 Japanese market Xbox360's (yeah, yeah, I know they actually sold like 200 or so Xbox360's in Japan, I'm just exagerating for a 'humourus' effect).
I'll still pick up "Kingdom Hearts III" even if it's not "exclusive" to the PS3 (loved the first 2 WAY more than I thought I would), but Squenix will be shooting themselves in the foot if they port it to the '360. I know they want to sell as many copies of a game as they can, but most people interested in "KHIII" will have played the first 2 "Kingdom Hearts" games (and darn well should have by now! If not; you MUST play them before you even THINK of getting 'KHIII'), and more than likely already have a PS3. Exclusives like 'Final Fantasy' and 'Kingdom Hearts' help sell systems. The Xbox360 has been around longer, and (still?) has a larger intall base so far, but the PS3 has been outselling the '360' for a few months in row now, and by the time "KHIII" comes out in the USofA, I'll bet that there WILL be more PS3's sold through to users (and still working, with no "Red Ring o' Death"!) than 360's, by far!!!
So please 'Squenix', don't 'bollock' this up this time, please???

Microsoft spends more money bribing Enix than it gains form these games going for the 360
Will it happen? I'd love to see enix start making Microsoft pay gratuitous amounts of money for every region they release a game in until Microsoft backs off. I would PAY to see that happen
