SOCOM Beta Patch 1.30 Out Today
Okay, so the SOCOM: Confrontation beta hasn't gone as smoothly as PS3 owners would've hoped, but the team is working hard to address the multiple issues that typically plague the testing.
They've already released patch 1.10 for the game, although it seems to have caused more problems for certain people. In response to the complaints, the developers have learned of all major issues, such as abnormally long network synch problems and frequent crashes and freezing. Therefore, according to Gamers Platform, you can expect the next patch - update 1.30 - to release today at 12:00 a.m. GMT. This will come as good news to beta testers, and it should leave them with a better impression of the game for its retail launch next month. Feedback from those involved in the beta has been mostly positive thus far, but the same refrain is heard far and wide throughout the Internet: "yup, it's awesome...when it works." Is that, like, the new motto for this beta, or something? Well, have no fear; you won't be left out in the cold on this one.
If you want the full list of what today's patch addresses, you can see it right here. Also, if you do download this patch today and have a few comments - for example, if you want to confirm a lot of the issues have been fixed - feel free to let us know below.
