LittleBigPlanet Beta Invites This Week?
We've already gathered up some of the early beta details for LittleBigPlanet, but there's more evidence that you guys ought to start checking around for invite info.
According to European gaming site PS3 Sense - and provided the translation is accurate - the first round of invites for North American and European beta testers will go out this week. Now, this would almost have to be true by default, as the beta is still scheduled to start on September 29, which is next Monday. It will run through October 12, and as we told you earlier, around 20,000 invites will be sent to all three major territories; Japan, North America, and Europe. We had heard that Japan had already received their invites to the beta, but no word on any other territory until now. How to get into the LittleBigPlanet beta...? Well, that's a bit hazy, but we imagine it may have something to do with downloading a theme from the Store (like we did for PlayStation Home), or perhaps we just have to wait for instructions. Think it could involve a pre-order plan of some kind...as if they don't have enough of those already for LittleBigPlanet?
If you receive any information regarding participation in a public LBP beta, go ahead and let us know. And of course, if we receive an official press release on the subject, we'll quickly tell you about it so you can secure a position in the beta.
