Multiple Sites Giving Away LittleBigPlanet Beta Codes
The LittleBigPlanet beta is right around the corner, and if you haven't landed a key just yet, multiple sites are prepared to give you a chance. Other resources like Eurogamer and IGN have already offered to give away thousands of beta codes, and today, more sites are standing by awaiting your request for a key.
European gamers may want to check Dutch website InsideGamer, which plans to give away 200 codes provided you register for their site and enter the contest in question. North American PS3 users can try GamePro, where they too have a contest going where you can enter to win one of 1,250 beta codes. Currently, the huge rush to nab one has crippled their site - not surprisingly - but it's only temporary and they should have things up and running very soon, so keep checking back. Lastly, we have heard that Eurogamer has been restocked on keys, so if you want to hit them up again, feel free to give it a try. There are multiple ways to land a spot in that guaranteed-to-be-eye-opening beta, but clearly, a whole lot of people are clamoring for a key and there are only so many to go around... Remember, this beta only runs through October 12, so you'll want to secure a testing position ASAP; the more testing time you have, the better, right?
As if we needed to remind you, LittleBigPlanet releases on October 21. Even with a loaded October, it's still the biggest launch of the month, and it should spark another upswing in PlayStation 3 sales. Top-quality exclusives have a way of boosting those numbers.
