Resistance 2 Public Beta Sign-Up

Everyone is rushing to score a key for the LittleBigPlanet beta but if you didn't get in, you may want to try something easier: simply sign up for the Resistance 2 beta, which should begin next week.

If you pre-ordered the massively anticipated FPS from GameStop, you're already in the beta test, as you should've received your code from the retailer. If you pre-ordered online, it came via e-mail; if you pre-ordered in the store, they simply handed you a card with the code on the back. When you have this, you head on over to http://register.myresistance.net/, input your key code and PSN information, and you're good to go. However, if you haven't done this, there's an even simpler method: simply visit the public beta sign-up page and make your presence known! If you're a member of the PlayStation Underground, you should've received an e-mail yesterday, alerting you to the existence of this site. It was up for a little while before, then taken down again (presumably to keep the number of participants from skyrocketing). But it's available now, so sign up while you still have a chance.

Resistance 2 is going to be one of the most gargantuan releases of the year, so why kill yourselves trying to locate a code for the LittleBigPlanet beta? If you're in both, bully for you, but if not, relax and sign up for the R2 test. It's just so easy.
