Let's face up to facts: while the immersion, atmosphere, and general hugeness of the city is always enticing in games like Grand Theft Auto, sometimes it's the little additions that make the experience so dang fun. What would GTA be without the radio? Seriously?

Well, even though THQ will be the first to tell you that Saints Row 2 isn't trying to be a GTA ripoff, they're well aware of the radio's importance. The full list of radio stations and songs has been released, and there's a little something for everyone. We may not get the long and amazingly realistic talk shows that we had on the radio in GTAIV, but there's a goodly array of diverse tracks, here. The total list numbers somewhere around 200, and it seems most every musical taste will be satisfied.  From Handel, Mozart, Vivaldi and Bach on Classic 102.4 to Nas, Run DMC, and Young Jeezy on KRhyme 95.4 to Avenged Sevenfold, As I Lay Dying and Lamb of God on Krunch 106.66 (why the extra 6? Know your metal, damnit!), it's all here. It's unlikely you won't find any music on this track list that suits you, and that's most certainly good news. In our estimation, nothing can top our boy Lazlo, but we're not about to complain when facing a great track list like the one we find in Saints Row 2. Let's just hope we're in a vehicle long enough to listen!

The long-anticipated sequel comes out on October 17, a few months after its initial release date. It was delayed for a number of reasons, but it's best to keep something like this as far from GTAIV (which launched in April) as possible. Now that you've had ample time to complete Rockstar's masterpiece, it might be time to move on to another one...maybe that's setting the bar too high, but our expectations are up there.
