LBP Unboxed Weeks Before Release

The closer we get to the launch of LittleBigPlanet, the more excited people seem to get. Isn't that weird? ...okay, it's not weird; it's perfectly normal, and all we see, everywhere we look, are hordes of LBP-fans-in-waiting. Of course, if you were one of the lucky few (or many, depending on how you look at it) to land a spot in the beta, you're already well aware of the greatness of Media Molecule's ambitious project.

Anyway, we've noticed that any and all early news concerning this game is greatly appreciated, so how's about a look at it? A few leaked shots of LittleBigPlanet un-boxed have just hit the Internet, and you know you want a peek. We haven't the slightest idea how anyone has this just yet, but remember, October 21 isn't that far off. Also, if these pics make you drool uncontrollably, we'd like to remind you that according to our inside evidence, the closed beta should change to a public demo in the last week. That last week is right around the corner, and if they're about to let everyone in, they better be able to handle the mass flocking. Some of you who tried Metal Gear Online early on vividly recall what happened to Konami's servers...those suckers had a meltdown, and while we haven't heard of any such issues in the LBP beta, they haven't made it public yet. When they do...watch out. Sony servers, you best not shut down on us!

Regardless, these pictures will either tide you over until the 21st or just annoy you with their teasing. Think LittleBigPlanet mania has gotten big enough, or can we handle even more?

I'm not surprised at all about this, but I'm not going to look at the pictures, I don't want to start drooling until the 21st. I saw a video where some french guy made a working calculator in the LBP beta, it was impressive.

Final Fantasy XII was pirated before it was even released, different issue, but there's no surprising me in this industry either. In the mean time, I'm having a blast with the LBP beta, but its sposeda close on Sunday, does that mean I won't be able to screw around with it at all anymore, or just the online play? Its ok either way, I can wait a couple weeks for the release. It would be nice if the things I've accomplished in the beta didn't just go away though.

I wish dat someone even reviewed it,i just can't wait till these lbp matters are cut short...I don't hate lbp,am just tired of the hype.

Someone has reviewed it. Official PlayStation Magazine UK reviewed it in this months issue and gave it a 10/10. And also named it the best PS3 game to date.

Have been playing the beta for a week or more now and it is great (put it this way It Is the first game i have pre ordered for the ps3 i want it as quick as i can

I hate it sometimes when someone get a hold of something like a game way before alot of people do and they just flash it. Maaan thats a spoiler lol im not gonna look at it tho. i cant wait till LBP comes out offcially on the 21st!

I have the LBP beta. This game is easily raising the bar for the whole gaming industry. It really is revolutionary. And this is me talking about the beta! The full game should get 9s and up on every review.

the LBP BETA rocks!!Cant wait for this game!!theres only one thing i dont like about it so far and thats people slapping you into fire or electricity who are supposed to be helping you to the end of the level..well i thought they were anyways!!this game reminds me of abe...all its missing is the controlable farts....

I was liking that beta too until they pulled it :( i did find the working calc. level that was earlier mentioned that was pretty impressive... i cant wait for the game but i get mixed feelings cuz i found myself up intil noon the next day making a level! got kinda ugly after that... oops!
