Confrontation Trophies Coming Soon
If you were one of the many who brought home SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation yesterday, you probably noticed a few things that vexed you. First, you found you needed "at least 3.1GB" of HDD space, and soon after, you learned that Trophies didn't exist.
Well, they don't...yet. The team has not produced a Trophy list for SOCOM: Confrontation, but when PS3Fanboy asked SCEA's Jennifer Clark about it, she said the Trophies will "become available via patch in the coming weeks." Now, this may or may not halt your play time, because we have no idea if the Trophies will be retroactive. Granted, you probably can't get many hours in between now and the time those Trophies arrive, but some gamers may be wondering what they're missing early on... Eh, we figure the early Trophies are always easiest to obtain, anyway, so even if they're not retroactive, it shouldn't be much of an issue to nab 'em. The only problem is, as many disappointed racing fans will tell you, some of the Trophies in Burnout Paradise that were supposed to be retroactive didn't really work. However, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, and you can bet there will be quite a few Trophies for SOCOM. Remember when Incognito gave us Trophies for Warhawk? There were over 50 to get!
So anyway, if you're wondering why the Trophies are mysteriously missing from your snazzy new online multiplayer extravaganza, now you know the score. We'll let you know as soon as we hear more about this upcoming Trophy-laden patch.
