Vader And Yoda Finally Set To Square Off In Soul Calibur IV
When Namco Bandai made Darth Vader and Yoda exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Soul Calibur IV respectively, some gamers saw this as a dirty trick. We can't create the legendary "Star Wars" battle this way!
But clearly, that was only a little marketing ploy, and the time has come to give the fans what they want. According to Joystiq, Namco has just announced that the blank spot on each version's roster will soon be filled in, provided you wish to fork over the $5 required. Players of the PS3 version will be able to download and use Yoda, and players of the 360 version will be able to download and use Darth Vader on October 23. This is plenty of incentive to pop in SCIV for a few more rounds, isn't it? This generation, what with the advent of downloadable content and all, developers can continually add a great deal of longevity to aging games. Perhaps it's wrong to call SCIV "aging," but in this industry, you're fresh for about one week until another big release comes along and eclipses your hype. Thankfully, having Vader and Yoda available simultaneously on both versions of the game will resurrect any lost interest.
Perhaps the best way to test your skills with your favorite "Star Wars" character is to head online...can you imagine how many Vader vs. Yoda contests there will be after the 23rd?

The SC II's weapon master mode is far better than this customization thing. The truth is, you dont want to change the original cool look of the character, you just want to change their weapon, thats wut the classic Soul Calibur series is all about. such is my opinion.
