Bonus Missions For Far Cry 2 Pre-Order
Everyone likes bonus goodies for being proactive, don't they?
According to Console Monster, UK retailer HMV is offering a deal that will appeal to most any FPS fan out there: four extra missions for Far Cry 2 if you pre-order the game now! It seems these missions will give you "access to hours of gameplay" you wouldn't normally receive, but you better act fast. The game is scheduled to arrive in European territories on October 24, which is this Friday. The four missions are: The Georgian, The Bolivian, Special Delivery, and Le Francais, and yes, this offer does indeed apply to all versions of the game (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). Of course, North American gamers are wondering if a retailer like GameStop will offer a similar deal...and if we do our homework as we're supposed to, they do- if you pre-order, you will receive a free upgrade that offers 6 extra missions and a nifty full size map for all you collectors nuts out there. But you have even less time to take care of this; Far Cry 2 should be available in the U.S on either October 21 or October 22 (depending on which is the ship date).
If you don't get these four bonus missions via the pre-order deal, they will very likely become available as downloadable content on the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Live Marketplace at some point in the near future. Hopefully, the missions will be free...but there's certainly no guarantee. So we suggest you take advantage of this opportunity!
