PS3 Versions Of Legendary, Eternal Sonata Delayed In Europe
Atari may not be the powerhouse it once was, but they should still be able to churn out a few hits here and there. However, according to VideoGamer.com, the publisher's European release schedule boasts a few unfortunate surprises for PlayStation 3 owners.
First up, bad news for Euro RPG fans: while Eternal Sonata for the PS3 should still be on track for release this week in North America - today, in fact - it seems it has been pushed all the way into February in Europe. You can see the evidence right here, and it's sure to disappoint PS3 owners who have been waiting quite a long time for a quality RPG. Secondly, it's another bit of bad news, although the delay isn't quite as lengthy: as you can see on that list, only the Xbox 360 version of Legendary will make it out this month in Europe; the PS3 and PC versions will follow in November. We're not really sure why Atari's stuff is slipping across the pond, but, well...that's the way things are. We'll double check with the Legendary developers to insure the PS3 version is still on track for an October release in the U.S., but Euro gamers are definitely going to have to wait a bit.
We thought we were past the last-generation trend of high profile titles hitting Europe later than expected, but obviously, that trend hasn't flatlined just yet. Sorry.

Gotta say I'm completely underwhelmed. The character models and animations look stilted and repetitious. Looks like an FPS from 1999, with clipping and generic events all around.
But hey, always wait for that review right?
