Stores Selling LittleBigPlanet Early
I figured I'd update you folks on the whole LittleBigPlanet fiasco. As I'm sure you know by now, because somebody had discovered passages from the Qu'ran as lyrics in a LittleBigPlanet track, Sony was forced to delay the game a whole week in order to sort the matter out.Well, here's the kicker, it looks like a lot of retail stores, as well as mom-&-pop shops don't care for the delay and recall order, and have begun selling the copies of LittleBigPlanet they received last week. If you work, or know about the retail sector, very popular products can often arrive a week ahead of their scheduled release date. That is not to say that they can be sold a week early, as there are fines and regulations imposed to prevent early selling.
Well, because LBP's original release date was today, it looks like that's the schedule a lot of stores are sticking by. Major retailers like Target won't allow you to purchase a copy as their backend has been programmed to deny a sale of the game, but trying smaller places could net you a score. Numerous people all over the internet have secured their copies so this is legit. Our suggestion? Call up a few stores and see if they're selling before heading out to them.

I've also heard that some who did online mail order pre-orders from Best Buy got theirs.
