Free Rock Band 2 20 Song Pack Revealed
For those of you who purchased your copies of Rock Band 2 and are curious where your 20 free songs are, well here's your answer. Come November 4th Rock Band 2 owners will be allowed to download their free song pack at the PlayStation Store. But don't get too excited, as the artists listed here aren't one that you'll recognize. This song pack contains a list of bands that only the elitist of the elite would know...the guys who are so into underground/indie rock that they choose to live their lives in underground tunnels just to prove how hardcore they are about it.
Okay, so I'm making up that part about underground tunnels, but you get the point. To further get the point, this song pack is MTV's way of exposing an assortment of up and coming bands to you, the gamer. Who knows, maybe this song pack will help you discover something new and fresh that you've been looking for?
“The Rock Band platform is an unparalleled destination for music discovery – offering a broad cross section of rock, from iconic rock artists to emerging bands,” stated Paul DeGooyer, MTV’s Senior Vice President of Electronic Games & Music. “With the addition of the 20 new songs we’re announcing today, owners of Rock Band 2 will have the ability to experience music from over 100 artists - ranging from the acts they already know and love to up-and-coming bands we think they will like.”
