Purchase Qore Episode 6, Receive Closed Home Beta Invite?

Although we’ve got you covered when it comes to PlayStation news, you get a little something extra with Qore, and there are always a few extra incentives…

Take, for example, this tip we received from a reader: it seems that those who pick up the sixth episode of the online magazine will be in line to receive an invite to participate in the ongoing closed PlayStation Home beta. This evidence comes from a message sent from PlayStation Underground, and if we understand it correctly, those who either purchase Qore Episode 6 or are already annual subscribers will receive the invite in question, and that’s plenty of motivation, right? Europeans have had the chance to test out Sony’s innovative virtual world for quite some time now, but North American gamers haven’t had “equal opportunity,” so-to-speak. We still don’t have an official release date for Home, either, although the latest rumor indicates a possible November 19 launch. For now, it appears your best shot at getting early access to Home will be to snag the sixth Qore installment, and if Sony ever decides to confirm this at some point, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Just bear in mind that we’re still trying to get some sort of clarification concerning the release of that open beta, but Sony remains as tight-lipped as ever. However, if you factor this tip in with the other evidence – a PlayStation Home advertisement when new Network users go to sign up – it seems that we should all be “going home” very soon. We’re still in the dark, but there ain’t nothing wrong with little hints!

Yes, I have an email from Sony in my inbox right now that flat-out states that this report is true. That pretty much confirms it as far as I'm concerned.

When is Qore Ep6 available?

And is this beta going to be worth 2.99 if the opening of Home is going to be two weeks later?

I don't trust Qore. I never even got the RFOM3 beta invite from Episode 3 (or whichever one it was). And I'm not the only one, it seemed like nobody got it. I got in, not because of Qore, but because of the website.

This is so funny. Now WE are paying THEM to test their games for them and people are falling for it.
