Today is Amazon's PS3 Gold Box event, and you've got until midnight Pacific Time to snag any number of games and accessories at discounted prices. First on the list is the nifty PlayStation Eye, and you'll want to examine those Lightning Deals on the right there. Supplies are limited; the deals will only last until either time expires or the item is sold out, so keep checking back! What's on tap for the day? Well, check out hints, and see if you can figure it out for yourselves:
6AM PST | 9AM EST: "Performance enhancing drugs are encouraged."
9AM PST | 12PM EST: "Much better than the most recent movie."
12PM PST | 3PM EST: "Guest starring the Dark Side."
3PM PST | 6PM EST: "Hit it up the fairway."
6PM PST | 9PM EST: "Get connected in hi-def."
We imagine you've got some good guesses on these, as do we. The first is clearly Haze, although we suggest passing on that one. It most certainly didn't live up to expectations. But as for the rest, they could be great deals for worthwhile titles, so make sure to take advantage of this pre-holiday bargain. We'll keep you updated with sales as the months go on, too; we know that with all the amazing games hitting at one time, your wallets are hurting. ;)

Could be Blitz II instead of Haze because in Blitz II the teams encourage the players to use 'roids.

$20 isn't very much of a deal for component cables and why use component cables when you can get HDMI cables? I got mine off Amazon for like $10 with shipping. :\
