Resistance 2 Confirmed For November 28 Release In UK

Up until now, our friends across the pond have labored under that "TBA 2008" release date for Resistance 2. Scheduled to launch on November 4 in North America, European gamers have been hoping for a solidified release date for quite a while now.

Well, here it is: according to the Videogaming247 blog, the hotly anticipated FPS sequel should arrive in the UK on November 28, which isn't too bad. There has been much speculation regarding the UK launch of the game over the past few weeks; some rumors said it might launch next week alongside it's U.S. counterpart while others said it wouldn't hit UK stores until December. And while this may be a little later than you would've hoped, at the very least, it's coming in plenty of time for the holiday rush. Besides, there are plenty of great titles already available that you can select from, so here's your chance to catch up on a few of those...provided the publishers didn't delay your European version, of course. If you landed a spot in the beta, you have a head start as well; all you gotta do is remember your training for a month or so, and then you can put it to good use.

By the way, speaking of the beta- the servers are coming down today. Insomniac and Sony told us from the start the test would only run through October 30, so if you can't log in later, that's 'cuz it's over. But November is just about here, so...
