LittleBigWorkshop Launches, Image Import Tool Rumor Denied

Most who have fallen in love with LittleBigPlanet - and there are lots of new lovers out there - will want to get the most out of SackBoy and Co. Hence, pay attention to the freshly launched LittleBigWorkshop!

The site offers just about everything you could want: game information (trailers, exclusive artwork and screenshots, etc.), LittleBigNews (user generated level spotlights, developers news, etc.), forums, a nifty Sticker Room, and of course, the main highlight: the CREATE section. Dive in and move through the Blueprint, Workshop, and Inspiration Rooms to create the finest content your eager imagination can produce. You can even upload your own videos and photos in the Inspiration Room, which should give others the hint that they oughta flex their minds once in a while! There's a SHARE section, too, where you can create your own LBP profile and contribute to the growing community. The game has gone through the roof since it launched back in October, despite the small delay that will henceforth go unexplained. We had enough of that news then; now, we're looking forward to endless fun with LittleBigPlanet!

By the way, the rumor that an Image Import Tool is on the way was shot down by Sony. Alex Evans popped up in the official PlayStation boards to leave the following post:

"There are a couple of these rumours flying around today, so to clear things up - image importing is very much technically viable which may have been what Alex is referring to, however there are currently no plans to introduce it for a variety of reasons. Announcements of future content releases, whether free, paid for, feature update, costume, sticker or whatever will always come through the official websites for LittleBigPlanet and Media Molecule, if you hear of updates through any other source please take it with a pinch of salt until it has been confirmed or denied.

Right now there are no plans to introduce image importing to the game, and we’ll update if that changes."
