Fallout 3 Tops UK Sales Charts
It's one of the best games of the new generation, and UK gamers are proving they read game reviews: Fallout 3 has topped the PS3, 360 and PC sales charts in the UK during the first week of the title's availability.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, first-week sales were actually 57% higher than the first-week sales for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and Fallout 3 quickly knocked the former #1 - Fable II - off its lofty perch. Other games that cracked the top 10 in the weekly sales department were EA's FIFA 09, which now holds the #2 position, the globally popular Wii Fit, Far Cry 2, and Saints Row 2. Of course, Fallout 3 may not hold the top spot for very long, what with both Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2 due out in November, but hey, Bethesda ought to be happy with their game's performance in the region thus far. Here's the current top 10:
- 1. Fallout 3
- 2. FIFA 09
- 3. Wii Fit
- 4. Fable II
- 5. Pro Evolution Soccer 2009
- 6. Far Cry 2
- 7. Quantum of Solace
- 8. LEGO Batman
- 9. Mario Kart Wii
- 10. Saints Row 2
We have yet to see the official NPD numbers for the month of October for North America, but remember that Fallout 3 didn't release until the very last day of the month. For now, we'll just assume that American gamers are buying the excellent futuristic RPG at a rapid clip...aren't they?

Don't even try to compare the two. They are radically different games.

To combat this, turn off your system notifications when playing the game, problem solved. if you think you will get a message, you can always check. Other than that, i haven't seen any other glitches
