Heidi Klum Dons Lingerie, Promotes Guitar Hero: World Tour
Here's a universal rule of business: super models in their underwear can sell anything.
Activision has known how to market their products to the appropriate target audience for years, and they've prepared a guaranteed popular commercial for the recently released Guitar Hero: World Tour. They've taken super hottie Heidi Klum, placed her in a straight-up emulation of Tom Cruise in "Risky Business," gave her a plastic guitar, and said to themselves, "yep, that oughta work." She even has the socks and the shirt; the only thing missing is the shades, and there's no doubt it's perfect for just about every young male on the planet. If you didn't consider purchasing World Tour before, maybe you will now... We've marveled before at the meteoric rise of the music/rhythm genre in the video game world, and this is just another example of the category's popularity. What's next? New President Barack Obama endorsing Rock Band 2? Or how about we just stick with the hot girl formula and sign on Carmen Electra to sell a game? Hell, she'll do anything.
Oh, you want to see the Klum video? Of course you do. Well, go ahead and feast your eyes; at the very least, it proves that women like her need to be in lingerie all the time.
