150 Circuit City Stores Closing, Bargain Gaming Deals Coming?
It's not typically the place to go to find gaming deals, but now...well, it probably is.
According to BingeGamer, Circuit City is closing down 150 stores nationwide and because of that, you can expect a whole lot of "Everything Must Go!" sales. We have no idea what kind of hardware or software sales might be going on, but at this point, it'd be tough to categorize them as "sales." Everything is guaranteed to be marked way down, so perhaps you should take it upon yourself to wander over and see what you can find. There should be plenty of other items in there to peruse; maybe you need a new keyboard or mouse, or perhaps you're just running low on printer paper. Either way, what with all the many, many games that are out - and coming out - you'll want to try to save as much as humanly possible, but without putting a stop to your favorite hobby. New games are an agreeable $60, but these days, it can be tough to keep shelling out the cash for games, as awesome as they may be. So if you desperately want both Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2, doomed Circuit City stores may be the only store around to sell them for less...
Is the Circuit City in your town closing? Well, check the unfortunate list to find out, and then stop over this weekend to see if you can nab some unbelievable deals. We don't wish to make light of a company's dark days, but bargains are bargains.
