OPM Rumors: MGS5 In Development, Conviction Coming To PS3?
Who doesn't love a good set of rumors? The most recent edition of the Official PlayStation Magazine has issued a bunch, many of which should intrigue PS3 owners.
First up, the rumor that Metal Gear Solid 5 is in development has returned, although we're wondering how much longer they can call it "MGS5." Kojima has stated many times that MGS4 would be the final chapter in Solid Snake's story, so perhaps it'd be more accurate to just call the project Metal Gear 5, or something else entirely. We're absolutely certain another entry in the franchise is coming, so this isn't earth-shattering news, but if it's already in development...that's pretty exciting. Secondly, we hear EA is planning to make a game based on Dante's 14th century poem, "Inferno." Those of you who have struggled through "The Divine Comedy" know just how difficult Dante is to read, but maybe it won't be so hard to play. Obviously, the game will have to deal with your escape from hell, in one way or another. Thirdly, the rumor that Sony is looking to emulate Nintendo has continued to float around the Internet; this one says Sony will release a Wiimote-like controller, one that uses the PlayStation Eye to track your movements. To us, this is just "meh," but whatever.
Lastly, and this is more good news for stealth fans, Splinter Cell: Conviction should also be making its way to the PS3. Initially revealed as a Xbox 360 exclusive, the game has been significantly delayed well into next year, and now that PS3 sales are better, Ubisoft may be rethinking its exclusive decision. Yes, please!

This was called "Lost" on the PS2 years ago. I was looking forward to that game, until it was abruptly cancelled just weeks before it was finished because the publisher decided it wanted to switch to a budget model.
Ironically, if the company published the game now, it could publish it at a budget price, especially since the code was all but finished.
I never understood why no one ever published that game as a budget title, especially since other cancelled, but almost finished, games like Red Star and The Shield have been published as budget titles.

Well only to an extent
She shouldn't a female clone of Snake though
She should still hold some of her own traits.
Like how she's great with technology, how caring for others she can be, and how shy she can be.
It would be cool to have someone like that. I know most male gamers want a male lead character instead. But it would be way more creative to have a female lead in MGS5 if you ask me.
Sadly they(fans) would want her to be JUST LIKE Snake. Instead of letting her be her own person.

Awesome. Just awesome. I hooe they stay true to the novel as well, and they don't turn it into some silly FPS. Actually if they did, it would be a little bit reminesent of the original Quake...

And I really hope Conviction comes to PS3. That game was looking really promising last time I saw it.

2. Metal Gear: Solid Snake
3. Metal Gear Solid
4. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
5. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
6. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
I know I didn't count the PSP ones. It was just a half baked idea. But I wanted to explain myself anyway. I read somewhere that they were going to call Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear 3, but they felt not enough people would remember the games from the NES.
