Superman Doomsday Arrives On Blu-Ray For The Holidays
With the advent of Blu-Ray comes the most brilliant high-definition visuals the world has ever seen. For cartoon fans, this means you can now see your favorite heroes in a way you never could before, in front of your televisions on Saturday morning. And now, a new motion picture is both a brand new installment in a legendary series and a clear representation of the glory days of animation. Ask any purist; this is the way you need to see the Man of Steel.
Enter "Superman Doomsday," a must for all fans. You can buy the 2-disc special edition on both DVD and Blu-Ray, and it features 220 minutes of total content. Lexcorp has accidentally discovered the intergalactic serial killer, Doomsday, and Superman enters into a battle to save the world...and himself. Sadly, even Superman is no match for the hellish instrument of destruction, and Lois Lane - along with the rest of the earth - grieves the loss of their champion. This film is inspired by the best-selling graphic novel of all time, DC Comics' "The Death of Superman," which we imagine many of you are familiar with. If you have read the novel, you can imagine how intense the feature film must be, and the day has come: Warner Bros. has just released "Superman Doomsday" and you can now watch Superman's final moments in splendid full animation. Perhaps nothing is completely indestructible, even the savior from Krypton...
For all sorts of information, media and added details visit the Superman Doomsday official site. You can even pick up the original music score, which is now available to purchase on CD. The movie is an essential must for all comic book and superhero aficionados.
