Street Fighter Costumes For SackBoy

We hope you've enjoyed the optional SackBoy costumes that have already arrived for LittleBigPlanet; many great titles have received stuffing-filled cutesy representation in LBP, including MotorStorm, Resistance, and LocoRoco. But hey, we're not limited to first-party stuff, you know.

As you can see by this forum post over at European site PSNow, the next batch of special SackBoys are coming straight from your favorite brawler, Street Fighter! Clearly pictured there are Chun-Li, Guile, Ryu, and Zangief, and there may be more to come. These nifty costumes will be available individually and in promotional packs, although we don't have finalized details just yet. Hopefully, they'll hit the PlayStation Store within the next few weeks, so all the old-school fighting fans can nab a set of costumes that accurately depict their personal gaming interests. Just remember, though: you can't go out and design a Street Fighter-themed level to support your new-look Sackboy; if it appears as if copyrights have been violated in any way, your level will quickly get moderated. "Moderated" as in, erased. This has happened many times so far, and although the severe modding has been erratic, more and more users are saying it's impossible to keep such levels alive for very long.

But anyway, the SF SackBoys are perfectly legal, and besides, the die-hard LBPers will probably start a collection. You're going to want every last costume ever offered, aren't ya?
