One More Week For Killzone 2 Beta
Killzone 2Killzone 2 is an immediate Game of the Year contender for 2009, and the reason we can say this with such certainty is because we've seen this bad boy. Beta testers are loving it, so why end things when you can go for one more week?
Initially, the beta testing was supposed to end on Monday, but Guerilla has revealed that it will remain in place until the following Monday, December 7. According to a post made by Seb "MotherH" Downie over at the official PlayStation forums:
"Due to popular demand, phase 3 of the beta has been extended by one whole week and will now conclude on the 7th of December. Happy fragging folks and remeber to keep that feedback coming on http://beta.killzone.com"
Also, please remember that we will soon release our full hands-on preview of our special Killzone 2 experience outside the beta (which most of you already know about). The embargo ends on December 4, but if you want the goods this week, you're going to have to be a newsletter subscriber; we will only include this special preview in the week's newsletter, as the article will be posted on the site the following week. It's easy as pie to sign up, and besides, don't you want to get updates to our most important stories in your e-mail twice a week? Sure you do.

I love this game. Killzone 2 is one of the best FPS experiences I've had; its on that Halo 1 level.

definitely buying this game; i may skip the single player just to rank up my character immediately because it was pretty damn hard in the beta.
the only complaints i could think about this game was that the radar was a little tricky to get used to, the rocket spamming was annoying sometimes, and i wish i could use L1 to hold and release for my iron sight view of the gun but i heard that it has been added so that's great.
other then that, this game really is the best FPS out there. no doubt in my mind.
