Qore Ep. 7 Is FREE, Will Feature Skate 2 And Damnation
To be honest, we hadn't jumped on the Qore bandwagon until last month, when we received a voucher to check out Episode 6. We're sure glad we took the opportunity to check it out; that one featured some awesome Need for Speed: Undercover and cute cosplay features, plus the excellent in-world tour of PlayStation Home.
But this month, we won't need a voucher code, and you won't have to pay a dime to pick up Episode 7 today. Sony is making this one free - Happy Holidays! - so all you gotta do is take the time to download it; once you've done so, you can view several all-new video pieces. This includes an inside look at the upcoming Skate 2, a preview of the promising shooter Damnation (which leads to a look at the "Steam Punk" sub-culture), and for all you eager beavers out there, an exclusive Killzone 2 theme. That's one theme that may replace Jessica Alba on my PS3, 'cuz I just got finished reading Arnold's super special hands-on preview that we're sending out in newsletter form tonight, but that's another topic of conversation. For now, we urge you all to take advantage of this free Qore offer, because we think too many of you haven't signed up yet. Really, for only $2.99 for each episode and $24.99 for a yearly subscription, it's a worthy purchase for all PlayStation 3 owners.
Remember, Episode 7 is available today, and we'll keep you updated on everything Qore as time goes on, and of course, you can expect us to stay on top of anything hot these days; Home, K2, Square-Enix making everyone unhappy as usual, etc.

I mentioned a couple months ago that (based on some "insider information" I was able to obtain) Sony was almost certainly looking to revamp the pricing model and functions of Qore. You early adopters may feel gypped but it's very likely that Sony will be seeking to make it up to you in one way or another (I would be looking for a free year renewal once their new pricing model is implemented).
