Best Buy Streamlines Checkout For PS3/Wii

Best Buy has always had that bizarr-o checkout procedure, and during last year's Xbox 360 launch, that place was an absolute zoo. For whatever strange reason, the retailer decided to prepare the store for the launch by rearranging the check-out...successfully turning the process of buying a 360 into an American Gladiator obstacle course.

But this year, Best Buy has learned the error of their ways according to official documents leaked to Kotaku. This time around, they're adopting a more scientific approach to selling the PS3 - and two days later, the Wii - although we're not quite sure if that'll cut down on consumer confusion.

Anyway, here's the PS3 and Wii maze breakdowns, complete with a helpful diagram:
