Sony, Microsoft To Throw Down In Street Fighter IV Competition
Now see, this is the kind of thing that needs to be televised worldwide, so fanboys everywhere can form big parties around this momentous event.
Sony and Microsoft have been doing battle for years, but now they're gonna do it for real...well, kinda. According to Kotaku, Capcom, Sony and Microsoft will face off in a winner-take-all Street Fighter IV competition at next year's CES, and the trash-talking has officially begun. Each team will be comprised of 20 total participants, and Jeff Rubenstein will lead Sony's team, Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb will handle Microsoft's team, and Seth Killian will head Capcom's team. As far as we know, the participants can be anyone attending CES, although we assume you'll have to compete for a position. The event runs from January 8 through 11 in Las Vegas so if you plan on being in the area during that time, maybe you should stop by and check things out. The winner gets bragging rights for quite a long time, and as far as we're concerned, this should be an annual event. Pick a game and have Sony and Microsoft assemble teams to do battle; it should be a different game every year, and before long, both teams will start signing professional gamers like its the NFL. How bad-ass would that be?
Of course, in this case, Capcom will probably win and all this early posturing from the other two won't matter in the slightest. But even so, we definitely sense the start of a tradition...

and contrary to what most people say, i think i would do good on the 360 controller. i'm kind of used to the d-pad now, but i got to admit that the dualshock 3 seems like an unfair advantage over it.
i would like to do this but sadly i suck at street fighter :(
