Digi-Guys Announces WarDevil Chronicles For PlayStation 3

Your first New Year's gift comes from Digi-Guys, the team responsible for the upcoming action extravaganza, WarDevil.

They have announced a special side project that coincides with the promising title, and it's called "Wardevil Chronicles." According to PSU, this is a Cartoon/Anime that will debut several characters and situations "throughout the life of the main WarDevil project." It's a very cool concept, and clearly designed specifically for those who are big fans of such an art style. Said one Digi-Guys representative:

"We may do more - and expand the Project in many ways, as we've had great fun creating the 2D style - it's designed to be very different to the high-end/CG look of the main Project."

Now, as far as we know, WarDevil is exclusive to the PlayStation 3; most sources we find still say it was canceled for the Xbox 360. Therefore, this could be yet another PS3-only title for 2009 that sits high on the priority list for many owners of Sony's next-gen machine. Having little off-shoots like this 2D cartoon series is something we may see more of, too; it can really appeal to the target demographic. Stay tuned for more WarDevil news as it becomes available.
